‘കഥകളൊന്നും അവസാനിച്ചിട്ടില്ല; പ്രസിഡന്റ് സ്ഥാനം രാജിവെച്ചത് ആത്മാഭിമാനം ഉള്ളതുകൊണ്ട്’; ശ്വേതമേനോൻ

അഭിനേതാക്കളുടെ സംഘടന അമ്മയുടെ രണ്ട് ഭരണസമിതിയുടെ മുഴുവൻ കണക്കുകളും സുതാര്യമായി പരിശോധിക്കണമെന്ന് രാജിവെച്ച പ്രസിഡന്റ് ശ്വേതമേനോൻ. ആത്മാഭിമാനം ഉള്ളതുകൊണ്ടാണ് പ്രസിഡന്റ് സ്ഥാനം രാജിവെച്ചത്. ഇറക്കുമതി ചെയ്ത ചില കഥാപാത്രങ്ങളിലൂടെ ദുഷ്പ്രചരണം നടത്തിയെന്നും കഥകൾ അവസാനിച്ചിട്ടില്ലെന്നും ഫേസ്ബുക്ക് കുറിപ്പിൽ ശ്വേതാ മേനോൻ വ്യക്തമാക്കി. അടിസ്ഥാനമില്ലാത്ത ആരോപണങ്ങൾ തുടർച്ചയായി ഉന്നയിച്ചു. ഇറക്കുമതി ചെയ്ത ചില കഥാപാത്രങ്ങളിലൂടെ ദുഷ്പ്രചരണം നടത്തിയെന്നും ശ്വേത പറഞ്ഞു.

Part 1 – I thank everyone who has stood by me. But I feel it is important that I put my words before the public myself. The reason why I resigned is because I refused to be a puppet to anyone.

AMMA യുടെ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിന് മുമ്പ് തന്നെ ക്രൈം നന്ദകുമാർ, മാർട്ടിൻ മേനാച്ചേരി പോലുള്ളവരെ മുന്നിൽ നിർത്തി എനിക്കെതിരെ ദുഷ്പ്രചരണങ്ങളും കെട്ടിച്ചമച്ച ആരോപണങ്ങളും നടത്തി.

Despite all that, I won the election with the support of the majority of AMMA members. I can assure them that I did everything to the best of my ability. Unfortunately, certain vested interests made sure that we never got the opportunity to investigate the wrongdoings of certain previous committee members.The accounts of the past two terms, including ours, should be thoroughly reviewed. A forensic audit should be commissioned to ensure complete transparency and accountability.

Even after my resignation, പുതുതായി ഇറക്കുമതി ചെയ്ത ചില കഥാപാത്രങ്ങളിലൂടെ വീണ്ടും ദുഷ്പ്രചരണങ്ങളും കെട്ടിച്ചമച്ച ആരോപണങ്ങളും വ്യക്തിഹത്യാ ശ്രമങ്ങളും തുടരുകയാണ്.

So let me make one thing very clear. I am neither a Sanghi nor a Commie. I never attended even one function organised by the BJP-led Central Government or the previous LDF-led State Governments, even though I had all the invitations. Not before I became AMMA President. Not after I became AMMA President.I stayed away when everyone else was chasing these invitations.

യാതൊരു അടിസ്ഥാനവുമില്ലാത്ത വ്യക്തിഹത്യയും വ്യക്തി അധിക്ഷേപവും തുടർച്ചയായി നേരിട്ടപ്പോൾ, നിലപാടുള്ള ഒരു സ്ത്രീ എന്ന നിലയിൽ AMMAയിൽ നിന്നും രാജിവെക്കാനാണ് ഞാൻ തീരുമാനിച്ചത്.
